What Is a “Dosage Form?”

A dosage form is the shape of your medicine.  Capsules and liquids are common dosage forms.  Compounded dosage forms offer more options and may include lozenges, lollipops, and topically applied creams.

Could Compounding Work For Me?

Thurs, October 28th

Thyroid Therapy: My Labs are "Normal," I'm Taking Medicine, But I Still Have Symptoms?

Many people suffer the symptoms of thyroid conditions, including:

fatigue;

weight gain;

poor memory and difficulty thinking;

high blood pressure and high cholesterol;

depression and irritability;

hair loss, brittle nails, and dry skin;

cold intolerance; and constipation.

Adding to the frustration are medications that don't help enough

and lab tests that report "normal" values.

Join Pharmacist Christina Barnett at Westchase Specialty Pharmacy for a discussion of thyroid dysfunction, lab tests and interpretations, and

medication and supplement options.

6:00 pm    Wine and Cheese Reception

6:30-8 pm  Discussion
